England have become record breakers. Yep, for the first time ever England lost games 1 and 2 of the group stage of the World Cup. This has never happened before. This was mentioned on ITV directly after the match so it's fair to say this is correct information.

What a result, England!

This is ITV's football coverage you're talking about here, so I wouldn't be so sure.

The reason I mentioned it was on ITV was I can't be bothered to check Wikipedia or some football facts site to find out! I'm sure it's correct but if anyone wants to check, please do.

Oh, I'm sure it is, I was just making a slightly frivolous point that ITV's football coverage is so bad that I wouldn't trust anything they actually say.
