Also, I bet Luis Suarez's house in Liverpool is being ransacked right now.

And when they see the score they'll be livid with him.

Ok here's a question. How many English players make up Premier League Squads.? Last season it was something like 26% discounting Welsh and Scottish. 1 in 4.

And of course that's squad players not first teamers. Man City our glorious champions have just sold Lescott. I suspect only Joe Hart will be the only English player for them next season.

But Greg Dyke wants to play the reserves in The Johnson Paint Trophy to give them game time. Whoopee doo. I know many people disagree but the only way to sort this mess out is to limit the number of overseas players for each club. You have to consider doing that.

Whether EU will prevent that or not in. A private league domain I don't know but B Teams is not the answer.

I agree about restricting the number of foreign players. But we have to make a decision once and for all about what sort of league we want. An international league based in England or an English/British league with a strong foreign influence. The latter is what we need to have a decent international team. The Scots and other home nation teams would benefit as well.

I would have a rule where a certain amount of English players had to be in the Squad for any fixture.

Some fans these days, don't seem to care about International Football these days, in a favour of there Club.

Amazes me why fans of clubs, really worry, about if other countries watch our League or not.

Restricting foreign talent is not the answer.

You need to cut the umbilical cord. By that I mean the Premier League's dependence on television companies paying ridiculous amounts of money for a uncompetitive, anti-fan, anti-consumer competition.

The Premier League do not emphasis that clubs have to make do. They whore clubs out with ridiculous kick-off times to make them look attractive to investors. And don't care how these billionaires obtained his money -- so long as they put money in their product, they are right as rain.

But isn't this the Anglo-American business model? What's happened is that football has taken on City style business practices. I suppose the driving force for this was the attempt to rebuild the appeal of the English game after the Euro ban. Italy had all the glamour back then. But it's all gone OTT and the English game is suffering.
