the Random Fan Close ups / Lack Of Crowd Shots...

Really not liking the coverage of the crowd by the tv people.

Some of the folk they focus on look more like they are at some mid afternoon music festival, just "happy to be there", probably corporate ticket holders, approved by Fifa.

Yet it sounds like there is a great atmosphere from the crowd, especially with South American teams, but we dont seem to be getting many "crowd" shots.

Maybe I havent been playing close enough attention but I was expecting bands/drums in the crowds especially at the home games.

Spoilsport me would prefer that the camera's view would never leave the pitch.

They may have been banned.
I believe the England band was band (thank god!)

Maybe FIFA got a backlash over the vuvuzelas.

It wastes precious time when I'd prefer to be seeing what's happening on the pitch. I don't wanna see overweight numpty in facepaint in super slow motion.

Also I've never understood why the match camera isn't placed so we can also see the dugouts of the manager and subs? It would be great to see managers reactions while the game is going on

Yeah not really a fan of the England trumpeter but I always imagined there would be the local samba beats and the whistles and danciing - nevermind.
