Walcott, wiltshier, oxlade-chamberlain.

Who else?

No wonder we struggled.

Walcott isn't great.

Wilshere isn't great.

Ox is good, but wouldn't have helped.

We can't be making desperate excuses like this, for God's sake.

We struggled because we can't defend.

Stopped England from what - performing even worse?

Ox, maybe - but Walcott and Wilshere?! Christ.

Costa Rica were missing two of their top players. Didn't seem to affect them too much!

Ashley Cole wouldn't have been skinned by Candreva for Italy's 2nd goal.

John Terry would have dealt with the ball for Luis Suarez's 2nd.

Costa Rica 6pts
England 2pts
Uruguay 1pt
Italy 1pt

Is this the John Terry who decided to retire from international football two years ago? May as well say that Bobby Moore would have dealt with it.

Never mind Bobby Moore.

Sir Alf was the best manager England have ever had. Undoubtedly.
1 win, and one unlucky QF defeat.

Clough was the best we never had.

Strootman, Van der Vaart, Van der Wiel
Reus, Gundogan, Bender
Ribery, Mandanda, Grenier
Rossi, Montolivo
Falcao, E Valencia, Perea

3 injuries to those who would have made your squad is about average.

Costa Rica seem to be doing fine without them
