Think it'll be a draw, hope Switzerland win though.

B-but England are out of the World Cup! Ban all holidays, all tattooed players and Rooney too!!

Right, now that's been mentioned in this thread, we can get over it and enjoy this game.

I think the French will have the edge for this one.

As I said last night, England's elimination makes it easier to enjoy the rest of the World Cup - and matches like this - from a neutral point of view.

France should find it easier to find their rhythm against a side willing to play football against them rather than take chunks out of them and as such I think they'll have too much for the Swiss.

I do not want to see the E word again today. And if Chiles says one more bloody thing about it, I will hunt him down and pie him

The Swiss can be a difficult side to break down and beat, wouldn't surprise me if they get a score draw here.

Think a draw nil nil or 1-1

I've been impressed with Shaqiri and Xhaka for a while, hopefully they both have a good game.

I kind of want Switzerland to win this, just because I never expected them to win the last game.

What does Ecuador have to do with this?

I'm surprised at Giroud coming in for Greizmann. He's obviously got more power but not the same pace or trickery to break down the Swiss defence. Are France expecting a physical game? Won't be any more physical than Honduras.

I was impressed by the French in their first match. I don't really care who wins tonight as both teams are likely to be the ones going through from their group.

I bet the French are happy to play a team not hell-bent on kicking the crap out of them (glares at Honduras).

Not sure why Sagna doesn't start for this side. Koscielny to actually.

According to the Beeb, this ground (Arena Fonte Nova) has already seen 10 goals in 2 games (Spain vs Holland, Germany vs Portugal). So, with any luck....

Nasty injury there for von Bergen, Giroud seemed to kick him right in the eye.

Is it within the rules to kick someone in the head now?
