Let's not let that spoil what was a sensational game of football and a sensational performance from the French; they were all over Switzerland from the point they scored the opening two goals to the time they got their fifth. Could have been more as well, they had a penalty saved, Benaglio made at least two world class saves and there was that non-goal from Benzema at the end too. |

Well, another pulsating game.
France, at times were simply irresistible. Job done, they switched off at the end but credit to the Swiss for the two late goals. |

![]() I went to the same school as him actually (although I'm only out about two years while Martin is long since gone. He sometimes comes back to present at the school awards ceremony.) Typical Catholic school because everyone who went there in the 70s sounds a bit like a priest.
