This is true.
I think if Hoddle took the job again it would be under very different circumstances. Right now, the "senior" players are on their way out of the squad and there are a lot of younger novice players coming in, so we shouldn't see a repeat of that.
He did a decent enough job last time around and I would be happy enough to give him another go of it, as long as he kept his religious crap to himself.
