Argentina vs Iran - ITV 5pm KO
It would be amazing if Iran pulled off a result against Messi and co., but we've seen some shock results in this world cup already, so anything is possible.
Enjoy the match! |

Iran will try to be hard to break down but if Argentina start in the uninhibited way they played the second half against Bosnia, then they are going to win. I hope Leo Messi fires a few in to really get him rolling for the later stages.

Might as well give Messi the day off, doubt he'll be needed.

I need Argentina to win by 3 goals, along with Germany winning by 2 goals, otherwise I'm not going to eat for the rest of the month

Argentina might get double figures tomorrow. Messi possibly could confirm the golden boot right here if he really wanted it.
Do people think Argentina really are the overwhelming favourites now, simply because of Messi factor? |

This will either be 1-0 or 5-0, if Argentina score early then Iran will collapse but equally they could hold them out until late in the game

Argentina 6-1 Iran.
One of Argentina's goal will be after 24 passes. |

They way Patrick Vieira uses the words 'quite' 'really' and on special occasions 'quite really' is a joy to behold
Then I turn over when Cannavaro starts talking |

OK ... guys ... YOU try analysing football in a different language (especially when your main gift in life has been to be able to play football, as opposed to being bilingual!).
He makes a lot of sense and almost always adds a different perspective to the analysis. And I hated (but admired) him as a player!! |

Dejagah has the moves.
I like O'Neill. Could listen to him talk about anything for hours. |

Vieira or Cannavaro? I like listening to Vieira but Cannavaros English isn't good enough and he keeps looking around and giggling for some reason

Looking forward to this. Hopefully the Argies put in some good attacking play - they're going with their attacking line-up and formation.

Argies have one easy group. I reckon they'll rue the descision to not take Tevez somewhere along the line.
