Plenty of threads for that.

Anything to say on the match?...

Iran gave it all they got, can't rule them out against Bosnia now
I agree. Iran should let this get to them because they played as well as they did against Argentina and can still qualify.

Probably not. We had several good chances, Rooney had 4 alone. Although parking the bus does tend to lead to the occasional chance on the counter attack as the opposition overcommit to try and break you down.
Iran's performance today was better than England's vs Uruguay. And they were closer to winning.

Yup, and as I said, England could have very easily parked the bus to get a result also, but they tried to be more ambitious and it didn't pay off.

Not so sure they have not impressed me at all in two games, think they may be turned over by the one bigger sides, but they seem to have quite a soft onwards passage

Of course, but he's surrounded by better players at Barca. I think his recent international record is something like 12 goals in his last 11 games so he's not doing too badly at replicating the club form.

Iran did well. I don't think anyone can call the Iranians Shi'ite now.

Bit difficult for them because the country is suffocated by US-led economic sanctions.

Argentina need to have more movement and pace in their build-up play. I think Lavezzi should be in the team going forward and Higuain hits the bench. I'm not sure if Aguero is fully fit either.

I wish Chiles would give over about England.
That is his job. He is a Croatia supporter. His mother is Croatian.

It is OK. Argentine coach Gerardo Martino has left Barça and Luis Enrique has replaced him.

Iran looked like one of the worst teams in the competition the other day. After watching the highlights they could have done a number on the Argies.

Along with your prediction that messi could wrap up the golden boot today IF he wanted too.
Obviously he didn't want to today. Wants to keep all the doubters doubting a little bit longer i guess

Mark Chapman has just said the save from Dejeager's header was arguable the save of the tournament.

Bollocks!
It was no where near.

Most of the Mexican keepers saves have been better. Can't remember who it was with the Gordon Banks' type save but that would argubly be the best.

Close game! Wonderful goal by Messi.

Aguero doesn't look match sharp. It will be interesting to see which team Sabella puts out against Nigeria.
