I've read that Iran didn't concede a single goal during qualifying. I'm starting to see why.

That was a bad air header.

Ahhh, Aguero had to score there!

So close to an Iran opener!

Best chance either side has had for me - and you have to credit Romero for an excellent save.

Wow! Lovely play. Argentina have no room for complacency at the back.

It was lovely play wasn't it and they should have had a penalty too.

Brazilian crowd right behind them.

UTTER BOLLOCKS was that a penalty!!!

the defender had that all the way, as he had control of the situation, kicked the ball out ..... and the iranian went over HIS outstretched leg!

The fact that Iran are doing so well is an upset in itself. Even if they do lose, they'll be losing it with a lot of positives. They really could get out of the group on a very good day.

Looked that way at first but as the replays showed.. he never made contact with the ball.

At what point do I cash out on my accumulator and get my money back? This has got 0-0 written all over it

Divvent taak shite!!!

He took the ball first - the third replay where Tyldesley and Townsend made their minds up showed it clearly.

But what a ridiculous challenge - and I'm rooting for Iran!!

If they did, they would most likely be playing France.

Messi goes close. Good game this, 0-0 but chances for both teams.

Just wound the play back. No way he touches the ball.

Everyone's rooting for Iran now.

It's similar to the swing of USSR support to Balboa from Drago.

For what it's worth I still think Argentina will win this but only with a goal in the last ten minutes as the Iranian defence tire.
