Germany have won both their two previous meetings against Ghana; a friendly back in 1993 and a group stage fixture in the last world cup tournament. They should complete their hat trick of wins with this game today.
Enjoy the match!

Will the Germans be as good as they were against Portugal, Ghana know they need a result to realistically say in the world cup

Ghana are the Kings of Mishaps. Expect undelivered crosses, the ball going over the bar when they have an empty goal, shots from far being blasted 150 yards too wide, players tripping over the ball and losing possession ever 6 seconds

Germany: Neuer, Howedes, Hummels, Mertesacker, Boateng, Lahm, Khedira, Ozil, Kroos, Gotze, Muller

Ghana: Dauda, Rabiu, Mensah, Boye, Afful, Muntari, Asamoah, Boateng, Atsu, A Ayew, Gyan (c)

Ghana have seen the light and start with Boateng. No changes for Germany.

Think Germany will be too strong again, 3-0 to Germany.

bit of a strange looking Germany team , especially after all the abuse England have had for playing people out of position

they have one recognised fullback in the team and he plays in midfield , 4 centrehalfs at the back and muller up front when hes not really an out and out centre forward

What's the primary reason two brothers are playing for different nations? Born in different countries? Can someone clarify?

might be wrong but think they were both born in Germany but have a ghanaian parent so had dual eligibility and chose separate paths

Both born in Germany to a German mother and Ghanaian father. They are eligible to represent either.

Both have dual nationalities, both initially choose Germany I think, Kevin-Prince changed to Ghana.

Ahh!! Germany ... the league of nations!!

Boateng? Ozil? Kadheira? All we need is Podolski!!

Worse than "English" cricket and egg chasing

Evening all, and Germany should win, but then we can't be sure. Good luck to both teams.

Can't see Ghana causing an upset here.....but in this World Cup, anything can happen and Ghana on their day are quite decent.

Boateng, Ozil and Khedira are all German, just have ancestry from other countries.

Should be a goal. Has to be a goal.....doesn't even test the keeper.

Ancestry? Makes it sound like hundreds of years down the line.

Somehow, seems a little ridiculous that the Boatengs are playing against each other - there's plenty more from me about the ridiculousness of switching countries if you want it, but I'm going to settle down, watch the game and support Boateng

This game I'll watch to the finish, and BB can wait until +1. Last game between Argentina and Iran was so exciting, and hope this one goes the same.
