I agree changing countries is wrong, but I'm pretty sure Ozil, Khedira and Jerome Boateng aren't guilty of this, there's genuinly nothing to criticise them, or Germany for. They are German, why wouldn't they play for Germany

Would you also criticise Welbeck and Jagielka for playing for England given how they could have represented other countries? Raheem Sterling isn't even English, he was born in Jamaica, no complaints from me, but maybe something else to consider if you criticise Germany for it.

Looks like it's going to be a great match.

Teams in red are playing well today, first Iran, now Ghana.

It's livening up the commentator says, and I say about time it was, as game is a bit sluggish.

Yep ... I'm with the Bosnians who don't forgive Ibrahimovic.

Can't change nationalities like you do clubs ... otherwise there's no point - you'll have the ridiculous situation that athletics have where the oil rich "buy" Kenyan and Ethiopian athletes.

Unless you WANT Qatar to have the best team in 2022?

I agreed with you, changing nationalities is wrong. Ozil, J. Boateng and Khedira haven't done this, so I don't see why you brought their names up. What criteria would you have to represent a national team?

I don't think the German GK is going to concede a single goal this tournament.

Would that be the Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was born and brought up in Sweden?

Another example there of the massive swerve you can get on this ball if you strike it in the right way.

I think the oppressive heat this game is bring played in could well favour Ghana as this game progresses.

Germany are not playing the usual high tempo as a result.

All I want to see is a good game, and it looks like Ghana is providing that.

Rooney : "Boss I'm not sure where to go. The middle, the left or the right?

Roy H : "Shut up Wayne and just get on the plane.
