By miles the best African defensive performance we've seen so far at this WC. Its a relief honestly.

The one that made me smile was

Rooney : "Boss I'm not sure where to go. The middle, the left or the right?

Roy H : "Shut up Wayne and just get on the plane.

This tournament has been a nightmare for ' form students ' so far.

Germany making hard work of this. How could you see that pre-game?

1/2 time already, that heat must be getting to Germany, unless they will come alive in next section.

Well you can't see how hot the conditions are "pre game" either - it's clearly having a huge effect.

All I want to see is a good game, and it looks like Ghana is providing that.
Same here and yes they are.

It wasn't as though the Germans put them under relentless pressure in that first half, though.

Hansen is annoying me. Why did he have to come back- thought he retired?

Its his swansong.

Was great when he started, but hasn't really analysed anything for years

And then Shearer would just repeat what he said...

What a ball in from Thomas Muller.

The man's got the midas touch at the moment.

Should open things up now, Ghana have got to come out.

Excellent goal there. Saw the slimmest of chances, took it.

Yep, that was coming. Typical Germany, they haven't played that well, but lead.
