Rooney's hollow apology
I'll accept Roney's apology if he gives, to charity, all that money he's made off television adverts over the past month.
Gerrard and Hart......the same goes for you too

Just what was Rooney doing in a commercial with Messi & Ronaldo? I mean the only way he should appear with those two would be if he was getting off a scooter delivering them a pizza or something,

Another day, another stupid thread about Rooney and England. Almost enough to make me wish they were still in the tournament!

How dare sports players appear in adverts!
No adverts, no holidays and no tattoos for our players! Once that's sorted, watch us go in the Euros! |

You might be content for Rooney to take the money and run but there's a hell of a lot of disappointed England supporters who aren't. |

Apologise for what? It's sport. Plenty of players didn't perform up to our expectations.

Not stupid enough to prevent you from contributing though...

And if you really think his earnings are in any way the cause if England's disappointment then you know nothing. Rooney was England's best player against Uruguay anyway. |

what's it all about ? why on earth are people apologising for losing football games to better teams ?.......it's not as though England put in an abject performance, they played as well as expected and probably better than looked likely a year ago They played to the standard of what they are....... This whole culture of apologising is ridiculous |

Rooney should do the decent thing for once and retire from international football.

Rooney should tell England to shove it, let someone else become the whipping boy of the nation.

Some people wouldn't like it though, who would they be able to beat with a stick if he did decide to take this course of action. |

Far too many stupid horseshit threads being made on here - and the mods still allow them.
