Germans will be playing safe though, they are guaranteed to be through too as long as they don't lose.
Even if Portugal do somehow manage to make it through, the weakness of their left side and their inability to correct it would surely mean a swift exit against a more capable team.
Yet another fantastic game and what a way to wrap up the 11pm games this tournament.
Heartbreak for the US but they had so many chances to kill the game in injury time and failed to do so. Hopefully it doesn't cost them qualification.

I think Group G is the only group where all four teams could go though. A lot of goal difference needed to be worked out though.

If the US drop as deep as they did tonight and against Ghana, then Germany could dish out some serious punishment to them though.

Could come down to Goals Scored between US and Ghana if Germany and Ghana both win by 1 goal.
