Klinsman sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A fittingly exciting end to the night matches. Pity there aren't some more.

I think Hansen is wrong. No-one hammers the US in competitive football these days and let's face it the German side look better than they are.

Klinsmann talking utter tripe, the games and venues were set before the teams were known. Plus he's wrong anyway, Germany played up in the North in Fortaleza, almost as far as the Amazon. Total bullshit but the US audience won't realise.

Ronaldo was awful bbc. Stop hyping him please. Might as well do a Nani tribute and kid yourself that he played well just because he scored.

Yeah, given the exciting games we usually get, I could do with another 2 weeks of late night games.

Very few teams are being hammered in this tournament to be fair. Sitting that deep will be dangerous for the Americans though.

But that result suited both teams at the time though.
Oh I know. Once WG scored then it was a farce. Stitched up Algeria. That's why the final group games all kick off at same time now.

But he produces the magic when it's needed the most.

Klinsmann used to be Loew's boss. He might tell him to settle for the draw.

If the US drop as deep as they did tonight and against Ghana, then Germany could dish out some serious punishment to them though.
Yeah, it might go against a teams instincts, but it's about time sides learnt playing deep is a recipe for disaster. Cliche maybe, but attack is the best form of defence, if you're attacking the opposition, they can't attack you. I'm not saying push everyone forward- keep a stable back four, but putting 10 men in defence is actually a really poor way to defend.

I really think that either Chile or the Dutch would be favourites against Brazil.

Shearer was right to say that Fred is shit too.

Could come down to Goals Scored between US and Ghana if Germany and Ghana both win by 1 goal.
But if they end up level on goals scored, the USA will go through on the head-to-head rule.

Oh I know. Once WG scored then it was a farce. Stitched up Algeria. That's why the final group games all kick off at same time now.
I watched the "highlights" of that match recently and it really has to be seen to be believed; both teams barely ventured into each other's half, never mind set up an attack.

Enjoyed watching all the night games and posting along with you all too.

Pity they're over but may the World Cup craziness continue.

Brilliant game again. Funny reading some Americans on Twitter getting ready for 'over time' because they didn't realise you have draws in 'Soccer'

I take the piss but they actually have a better national side than us and half their country hate the thing. Fair play to them. Many Americans are really waking up to this great game and leaving the 'soccer is boring' crowd looking like old men complaining about not understanding how the Internet works

Definitely. Think Usa Germany will draw, but will try not to make it obvious.

10-10 or something

Fair enough if they do a stitch up, both teams have done the work to be in that position.

He's clearly unfit and yet again a World Cup will pass him by without him being able to give his best..

That's something I wondered when you see USA crowd at games if they switched on to the various goals and permutations of the results
