Hi folks, with the bewildering appearance of gary lineker fronting bbc's coverage in an Italian home shirt! should the best he do for the sheer embarrassment of him doing such an impartial appearance is donate the shirt to charity?

Given that Italy will also be out by Tuesday evening, the charity probably wouldn't want it.

He looked good in it. It wasnt bizarre. He was supporting italy, to help england. Trouble was italy played like England.

It's not that bewildering. England relied on Italy to go through, so many English fans were supporting Italy.

What is hard to understand?

No. He might as well keep it and make use of it in the final.

I'm confused that anyone could find it confusing.

I thought it was a nice touch.
