Yeah. When you consider the talent out there this is an absolute shocker so far.

I've had this match on in the background but surely it can't be as bad as the majority of the night matches we've had?!

Yes it's as bad if not worse.

I hear TH saying it was his last game as the MLS was starting soon
Ah, cheers. I would like to see him become a pundit more regularly but I'm sure he's absolutely coining it in playing in New York.

Russia vs South Korea was the zenith of dullness for me. I haven't had the willpower to watch a full night match since.

Belgium just happy to play out a draw with 3 points on the board already.

Fabio Capello should be banned from the World Cup, matches involving his teams are consistently the dullest in the competition.

Sepp should make that the central plank of his reelection campaign.

Nigeria vs Bosnia was pretty bad last night. Iran vs Argentina although tense wasn't a cracker either.

Did the commentator just say that there are no form teams in the tournament?

Erm, Colombia. Costa Rica. France.

Don't know, the second half was pretty good with Iran venturing forward and going close to scoring.

I'm in danger of nodding off in front of the TV here. This is dreary.

I think he said no "flawless" teams but I don't think France have put a foot wrong yet, except for maybe the 2 goals they conceded against the Swiss when they had already had the match well and truly wrapped up.

If you want to digest this world cup further Holland and Germanys groups have been absolute crackers, whereas Argentina's and Belgiums groups have been a bit underwhelming. Argentina have been lacklustre in a lacklustre group.

Yeah it wasn't bad, but the quality of some of those matches in that group compared to say Germany or Hollands group has been quite different.

Oh yes, I agree with that.

Just out of interest, we have seen 34 goals scored in this second round of group games (albeit with two still to be played) compared to 49 in the first round.

I see i'm not alone with what I came to post.

This is a bit of a nothing match isn't it. Boring with no action.

I think Russia and Iran play football that isn't particularly conducive to entertaining matches in fairness Belgium could definitely be doing more but a draw is a fine result for them.
