Who tackles worse than Adam Lallana?

I can't think of anyone.
Mario Balotelli

England are so oooooo boring to watch, could have gone out on a high and score loads of goals! Costa Rica, how did they win the group? They are rubbish as well
Which is why they lead the group? C'mon now.

That's good goalkeeping.

Although we haven't impressed

This isn't the starting team, nor have this staring line up of players played together on the big stage

It's experimental

Not good, but still experimental
watching lab rats is experimental and more entertaining....

Complacency by both Uruguay and Italy.

Decent first half by England tonight but they have been awful so far in the second.

i noticed that, strange that the bias commentators missed it.

Im all for the commentary being pro-england, but they should say it as it is and not be so obviously one sided.

What was Tyldsley goinig on about?

It wasn't an awful challenge. He basically bodychecked Barkley who was on his way down anyway.

Hodgson is an awful half-time manager

We have been hopeless between 45-60mins in every WC game so far

that was as far from a "brutal tackle"!

he basically RAN into the costa rican, who had stretched well, look at where the ball was travelling???

This game is proof that the likes of terry and cole should've been taken to brazil, this whole obsession with giving the youngsters a chance, has been a disaster. Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with the need to giving players experience and developing them, but not at the most important tournament which happens only once every 4 years. And what on earth is hodgson doing leaving rooney (arguably our attacking player) on the bench?
