Lampard has poor technique and touch so far, has had the ball in promising 3 times just outside the costa rican penalty area and has done nothing with it
He's looked like this all season for Chelsea. It's a mystery he's even there.

Is there anyway imaginable that England can still qualify for the next round?
A mass brawl between the Italy and Uruguay players, a few assaults on officials and both teams end up getting kicked out of the tournament. England finish 2nd as a result.

Indeed

Very.....grassy
Yeah, and once they fall they'll be eager to get up again.

I could be wrong, but they seem to play same style as 1st team did. For youngers they should have more energy to gad about. Costa Rica seem to have more oomph to them.

At least he's looking like he's having a good game so far.

Who wants to bet Wenger sells Campbell for 10M and resigns Bendtner on last day of the transfer window?

Stonewaller. Defender's made zero effort to get to the ball.

Thankfully in this world cup the refs have decided that its a contact sport.

Yup, making no effort to get the ball and taking a player out is fair contact. Great officials.

don't think it was a penalty his first touch meant he didn't have the ball under control

wilshere just got merked by ruiz. him, barkley and lallana are showing how overrated they are in england

We play football non stop and should be world class. We are just not good enough. I think possibly there is just too much football and not enough preparation.
