...and make it wider, then loose shots would get in. I had high hopes for this England team, and so far their shots and high and wide. -sigh-

I did not rate them going very far in truth but at times it was dubious if they were even going to get there.

You have to look at why Foster plays for West Brom though. It's because (as I've heard from WBA fans) he can have a blinder one week and then make 2 or 3 costly mistakes the next. Consistency has always been his problem.

Would like to have seen Forster get a chance today instead.
Unfortunately Foster has WBA defenders in front of him, Hart has Man City's so it's hard to compare based on club performance alone. I just know I feel more confident with Foster in goal, he can distribute the ball better than Hart too.

Is Andy Townsend the most annoying football pundit ever?

An England player boots it up to row Z.....

AT: That was unlucky. Well played.

An foreign player chips the ball straight to our goalkeeper.

AT: Brilliant goalkeeping. The way he caught that was just fantastic.

ITV are just so bad.

I wish the players would take a bit more risks in what is a meaningless match (for England). As another poster said (I think it was Dix), it's still the same, slow play.
Yeah twas me who said their style seemed same as the 1st team. I hate when they slow down, then stand around. Taking risks would be a great idea, but how do we get them to do that. -sigh For a young team they lack excitement.

Same old defensive lapses at the end there, Jones ball watching and lucky to escape.
Doesn't matter who it is in defence, it's like the shirt makes them forget how to do it!

Hart has him moments. He was dropped by City last season.

They're not going to take risks as a 3rd loss is just going to mean them getting hammered by the fans and press even more.

Speaking of being dropped, maybe he's emulated Canizares (aftershave) and Beasant (salad cream) as keepers who have caused themselves injuries by dropping bottles of stuff on their toe.

Wonder what bottle Joe Hart might have dropped?

If they change their style, they'd be better. Rent a crowd have all the oomph, and should be playing.

Flip sake England...come on!

The studio building was pelted by protesters on the road beneath

Personally, I think the were aiming Adrian

Why wouldn't you aim for him?

Yep, that's been there for 2 weeks now. Double glazers must be busy protesting. Either that or the cheque ITV send them bounced
