Most of his career was with Arsenal while Harry Redknapp said this happened with Tottenham. Did this influence what he said.

Sure the last thing a grieving parent will want to get is a PR induced phone call from a footballer who probably wouldn't really care about the fact they've lost a loved one.

Not quite Tim Vickery levels of football punditry I must say.

I like Ian Wright, I think he he's good on TV, but that was a daft thing to come out with.
