Do you know what -it's f***ing brilliant.

To all the 'football fans' on here - Instead of making countless threads about Rooney, England being failures etc which dominate the first page of this forum, why not just sit back, soak up some sunshine and enjoy the matches.

After all it's four years until the next football comes along- don't waste a moment!

been the best tournament I can remember so far and that goes back to 1978 , altho we wont mention iran or peru

been great attacking football , lots of goals and even a game like Ecuador-Honduras the other night that didn't look that interesting on paper was an enjoyable game to watch

100% true, I'm English and wanted "us" to do well but deep down we all know we are average. I've managed to cut all allegiance and just enjoy the football on show and i've found it very enjoyable.

I agree - I have still enjoyed all the games since the fiasco with Uruguay and then the Italy which sealed our doom - it hasn't taken the shine off the rest of it for me. I can chill and watch the games without stressing over England!

Enjoy it everyone!!!

After this, it will be a long wait until Russia 2018, and given the size of that country and the various time zones within it, the kick off times won't be as convenient as we have for this World Cup.

So, yes, I'm enjoying it, England aren't a requirement for that. We had great games and an insane amount of goals, with even so called 'meh' games like Honduras vs Ecuador being entertaining to watch.
