For a team that couldn't be bothered they did well to only lose 2-1 twice creating more chances than the other team in both games.

Now had they lost 5-0 in both without a shot in anger you might have a point.

I presume with your thinking had they looked bothered we would have won 5-0?

What did you thinking of the cricketers who lost 5-0 in the Ashes then lost to the Netherlands in the World Cup?
I must have been watching different games, creating more chances... Didn't see that, just a bunch of unfit footballer's who could not be bothered.

They could have laid off their risk by betting on England not getting through - if that is an issue.

I'd still love to be out there, I bet the atmosphere Is great, and I have other favourite teams I want to go far.

It isn't all about England for me. Most of England's game were actually a bit boring compared to some of the fantastic games we've had at this world cup so far, and with all the different travelling fans out there, I bet it'd be a real experience, whether England are in it or not.

Are myscimitar and NigelReo the same poster? Their threads and comments are so out there and neither seem to accept the consensus of opinion on here.
A film starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Bridges springs to mind.

You could have hit the nail right on the head there.

Certainly against Italy we created a number of chances.

Anyway doesn't really matter.

I always wonder how on earth these people afford it, they can't be short of a bob or two, mind you they're paupers compared to the likes of Rooney - yes he should donate a week's salary to them, but he won't - Colleen's got tons of designer clothes to buy.

I just hope this is a joke thread.

Lewis Hamilton only came second yesterday. Should he donate money to the fans who went over to Austria?

If people are thinking like that then Tim Henman would be penniless for 'all the pain' he put the English tennis fans though.

England have a different kind of following nowadays, not a hooligan in sight. All middle-class Rugby watching types. Good there's no hooligans, but miss the working class edge to our support.
