I think Algeria has mainly Muslim players, wnder how Ramadan will affect them (starts 29th June, same day as second round matches
Players like Benzema, Yaya Toure and Ozil too. I imagine they'll postpone their fasting until after the tournament. Playing in that climate without proper hydration would be just asking for trouble.

Only managed to see the second half of the match as been out all day but another thrilling display, thought it was great.

Another great match from this fantastic world cup.

Hope Algeria qualify- but that probably means meeting Germany in the next round.....

Like Belgium vs Russia just before? Or Bosnia vs Nigeria last night, or Costa Rica vs Italy yesturday?

I get your point, we're averaging 2.9 goals, highest since 1970 (1982 averaged 2.82 so watch out for that), but I suspect people are having selective memories and forgetting some of the duffers we've had just beforehand. Mind you I can't blame anyone not wanting to remember some of those matches listed above, I'm certainly trying to.
I agree with this. This World Cup might be providing a lot of memorable moments but a lot of the whole matches haven't been great. This match was over within 35 minutes or so.

Perhaps, but in previous World Cups the duffers weren't countered by nearly as many terrific, free-flowing matches as they have been at this one.
