Frontline is in a different league to Bob Martins. While it does not need a prescription it does have to be sold from a licensed retailer which is why you tend not to see it alongside the pet products in supermarkets. Making general statements like 'Frontline doesn't work' is outrageous. While some people have a problem with it, it works me and many of my friends (I don't recall you checking with us?).
As for the vet, mine tried to get us to use systemic products like Advocate - very effective but an unacceptable risk for a dog with poor liver health. Maybe you would like to research what influences which products some vets promote?
You make it sound as though people who use Frontline are trying to save money at the expense of their pet's well being. Apart from the misinformation, that's just plain offensive.
