Are England looking deep enough for players? Time and time again the countries playing have players not associated with the top Premier teams.

Top premiership teams can't have everyone, when players leave their home country to play there's a good chance they'll end up at average clubs in the top leagues, then go on to prove themselves and attract the attention of the top clubs if they are good enough. The equivalent would be England looking at players plying their trade in foreign leagues, but they don't seem to want to do that so much.

Watching this game has inspired me to think up a new flavour for crisps if Lineker is ever looking for one again

Two second half goals flattered Holland. They aren't all that. They will do well to go much further, though it looks a lucky quarter for them. But if Italy somehow win their group, their know-how will stop Holland in the last 8.

Very poor game I thought, very disappointing, I hardly watched it to be honest, nothing seemed to be happening...
just hope Chile step it up again now.

Holland have played 3 games and in each one approached it in a different way, against Spain it was to get to them and stop them having any time on the ball, Australia they took it a bit easy, got punished, then stepped it up. Against Chile they just held their nerve defending and finally broke Chile down. They seem very good at adapting their play style to counter the opposition.

Mexico will be the toughest game for them. It will be extremely difficult to break down Mexico's defence. I bet Holland secretly wanted to play Brazil.

Hmm, Robben vs Marquez. Croatia was close quite a few times yesterday and Holland's got a far superior front line.

I agree. They got the tactics right and won all three of their matches.
