I have had to wait 5 days for an episode of Emmerdale. It doesn't bother me, as this week, (except Tuesday when England played), I had a family meal at 7pm.

There are important things in the world to worry about.

For those people who do moan when the soaps are moved for football, can I ask you, do you stay on EVERY night when the soaps you do watch are on? Do you not find time to record them and go out?

I can understand people like my nan who doesn't have any recording device/catch up as she has the basic freeview box. She watches Coronation Street. When she misses an episode, she isn't bothered as she will watch on ITV2 only if she bothers.

What is more important to people - TV or life?

It does annoy me when people complain about programmes not being shown at a particular time. Is it the programme in its place? Would you moan if BBC showed Children in Need, ITV showed I'm a Celeb, or is it because you hate sport?

Because it's in the contract

Not everyone wants to watch stupid soaps. Football got over 12m viewers. Why put it on ITV2 for a stupid soap that gets 5m or 6m.

BBC are showing the Saturday teatime game which might mean Casualty remains on Saturday evening...

Good.

What ITV was offering as an alternative schedule to the World Cup football does not compare to an episode of Casualty.

We are not bothered about the time/day moving for soaps, just like them to be on.
I have a life and go out few times a week.
I love Sport!
