I'm predicting a draw for this one, that would be enough to put Italy through.
Enjoy the match!

Should be a good interesting game even in SD (so I'll put up with RTE! )

Luis Suarez to give them the runaround but as Italy only need a draw clearly Italy have to be slight favourites.

Italy looked exhausted in their last game. This is another 1pm k.o in northern Brazil. They've said they found the last one far more exhaustingly hot and humid than Manaus.
Think the schedule will get them - 2 x 1pm kick offs up north is bad luck (or deliberate )
I'd be delighted if Costa Rica and Italy go through and charmless Uruguay don't - but Suarez's knee problems seem to have been a little overstated!

Changed the system and Prandelli had plenty of positive words saying they've recovered well and pretty much guaranteed they'd better Uruguay.

Really can't see Italy losing this one.

Disappointing to see ITV using the same buildup for both matches, back to Wimbledon it is then.

It's pathetic, England overkill to take over two channels for the hour, incredibly disrespectful, typical.

Yep, 4 teams are playing and they are focusing on the one team already eliminated. Just stupid.

Likely to be a feisty match, this one, as the Uruguayans try to stop Italy from establishing any kind of rhythm.

Coverage changed now, it should have started at ten to five, the last 50 minutes has been false advertising.

Commentators obviously not in the stadium. Again. Utterly pathetic from ITV.

This is the World Cup FFS, you don't cut corners at this level.

Forza Italia!

I thought I'd put the wrong channel on when I tuned in at half 4.

They just simulcast itv 1 until just after 16:50, not a second of build up for this game until the coverage split.

The more European teams progress the better as far as I'm concerned, I really don't want South Americans dominating the tournament. Plus Suarez is a tosser (an even bigger one than Balotelli).

Suarez seems to be a marked man out there as he's been fouled twice in two minutes.

Understandably cautious start from Italy.

They did the same yesterday for the Brazil and Mexico games simulcast until just before ko. The sound quality was awful on itv4 for the Mexico game but seems a better today. Wonder if BBC will use same approach for their last group games.

Which is exactly what England should've done.

Why does Suarez take the free-kicks for Uruguay? You would think being their most dangerous player that he'd be inside the box awaiting the delivery and not the man putting the ball in.
