He was definitely holding his teeth afterwards. Was it a butt and hit with his mouth or a bite?

Here is the Suarez replay:

https://vine.co/v/MtJJb6YVbPt

Looks pretty damning imho. Italian immediately twists his body and reaches his hand to the shoulder and it looks like Suarez wasn't even touched before he went down.

I wonder if he was fishing for a red card? Bite the player.. he then lashes out.. and Suarez goes down and hopes for the red?

FIFA need to review the replays.

Does anyone know he bit him or are people just speculating?

Doesn't matter what it 'looked like'

Did he bite him or not?
Liverpool fans will obviously defend him, Chiellini was showing the ref the bite mark, Uruguay player was trying to stop him.

Who cares. At least the awful Italy won't be stinking up the world cup any longer with their sleep inducing anti football.

Italy only have themselves to blame. Should've played like this earlier on, grabbed a couple of goals and put it beyond doubt early doors.

I despise Suarez and I really hope Uruguay go out in the next round (as it stands).

Glad Uruguay are going through. The tournament would be boring without the best player in the world

He has really taken a bite out of the other teams, and he is always able to sink his teeth into the other team.

Sorry I will leave now haha

Not really, just seen a different view, and it does unfortunately and rather disgracefully look like a bite

There you go, a Liverpool fan saying it

Five minutes of injury time, grandstand finish

Agreed, they didn't harbour any real ambitions of going forward and played for a 0-0 from the very first whistle.

Uruguay going through and yet Suarez missing the rest of the tournament? That would be funny.

They may have to go on without him.
Anyway have to say, Uruguay aren't very good at time wasting.
