I'll defend his talent as a player, but I can't defend the dark side of his game. There's just no need for it, every time you think he's repaired his reputation, he goes and blows it again.

If that really is a bite, then he should be out of the tournament. I don't think Colombia would be overly worried about Uruguay given the current form.
Good second half. Uruguay deserved to go through after Marchisio's stupidity. Suarez could have had a great WC but ruined it with his moment of madness yet again.
As much as I'm happy to see the negative Italy out and Godin continue a great season, that cheating bucktoothed whippersnapper will get all the headlines once again.

It was another poor performance from Italy overall and one can argue they got what they deserved.

There's nothing to wait and see on. He's a fantastic player - nobody can deny that. But he's an idiot. After receiving awards for last season he just goes and does something stupid... but this time it's on the world stage. I'm still to see a close-up of it but it does look like he at least attempted to bite him... if that's what happened then they can throw the book at him because he deserves it.
