Glenn Hoddle saying its terrible that kids might have seen the Suarez bite...
Then Itv replay the incident, sometimes in super slow mo, three times ![]() Our kids at school know biting is wrong so they don't do it, just saying

Not necessarily. I predict that Suarez will get away with it. Uruguay will argue that the video does not show Suarez biting, only contact. Where there is inconclusive intent, it can be called acci-dental (see that?) contact and he will get off. Shoulder to teeth rather than teeth to shoulder.

He was at great pains to point out that Uruguay hadn't yet scored when the bite took place - perhaps subtly suggesting that they wouldn't have done if he had been sent off - then he reminded us that the goalscorer Godin wouldn't have played today at all had he been sent off against England.

Unlike England Italy have a host of great coaches who could replace Prandelli.

I thought Prandelli would have stayed on until the Euros but fair play to him, he is obviously a man of great principle. He could have dined out on reaching the Euro Final for a while. It just wasn`t to be for Italy, everything that could go wrong did go wrong, injuries, red card, late goal, having your defender bitten.......

If Uruguay get through FIFA will have to act. Suarez would have to be banned for the rest of the World Cup.

It's a shame for Uruguay that no one is discussing their win over Italy, the largest overshadowing of a team progressing to the next round in World Cup history? I'm not disagreeing with it, Suarez has managed to take the whole shine off of Uruguay progressing, and in some people's eyes not for the first time either.
I hope Colombia beat them in the next round, I've been very impressed with them so far, they could make the semi finals at least. |

I think he should have stayed on - they do play some good football under him, but maybe if Pirlo is to go, they can then build their team around someone else. |
