Adrian Chiles single-handedly mounting a campaign for Uruguay to be thrown out of the World Cup

I see the irony

Our kids at school know biting is wrong so they don't do it, just saying

Hahaha Nice!

It's terrible that all these people keep thrusting their body parts into poor Luis's mouth.

He was at great pains to point out that Uruguay hadn't yet scored when the bite took place - perhaps subtly suggesting that they wouldn't have done if he had been sent off - then he reminded us that the goalscorer Godin wouldn't have played today at all had he been sent off against England.

Unlike Hodgson, at least Prandelli's had the decency to fall on his sword.

Unlike England Italy have a host of great coaches who could replace Prandelli.

Could we have a campaign to ban Adrian Chiles or better stll ban ITV from showing any football at all?

With the 0-0 draw today England have still only won one World Cup game shown exclusively on ITV since 1982!

I thought Prandelli would have stayed on until the Euros but fair play to him, he is obviously a man of great principle. He could have dined out on reaching the Euro Final for a while. It just wasn`t to be for Italy, everything that could go wrong did go wrong, injuries, red card, late goal, having your defender bitten.......

My daughter suggested that if he wishes to continue in top flight football, he needs to have his teeth removed.

Fifa should disqualify the whole team from continuing in the World Cup and Italy should be allowed to continue - absolutely shocking that Suarez was not sent off - the referee was crap in this particular decision.

I would sign it immediately - that is exactly what should be done - let the whole team suffer for the malicious behaviour of just one team mate.

That is absolutely correct, if that animal had been sent off it would have been a totally different game.

Haha. I would have preferred Italy to go through. They play a good passing game and know how to defend properly. Shame one of their players couldn't keep his discipline otherwise it would have been Italy that go through imo.

It's a shame for Uruguay that no one is discussing their win over Italy, the largest overshadowing of a team progressing to the next round in World Cup history? I'm not disagreeing with it, Suarez has managed to take the whole shine off of Uruguay progressing, and in some people's eyes not for the first time either.

I hope Colombia beat them in the next round, I've been very impressed with them so far, they could make the semi finals at least.

In the first game, Italy played some beautiful football, but then he changed the team and took Veratti out and changed the right back to left back and since then it's all gone wrong.

I think he should have stayed on - they do play some good football under him, but maybe if Pirlo is to go, they can then build their team around someone else.

Whatever happens to Suarez Uruguay have come out winners, as I think it's highly unlikely they would have scored if not for that incident.
It's also helped cover up Italy going out in the First Round for the second World Cup running.
