This has been irritating me since Rick was introduced to the show. We have this intelligent matriarch, works as a nurse and cares about the people around her. Shows great empathy and seems emotionally intelligent yet she can't choose a decent guy. Rick was a dead end loser who allowed her teenage sons chase him away and only comes back for money, not his sons. Fraser was an effing gangster yet she never noticed(?!). She had an affair with Jack Osborne resulting in Darren, who she then gave to him and his wife! Throw in the random banging with Dodger and you really have to wonder what on earth the writers were going for with her.

Well Kathy Beale wasn't much better what with Pete Beale, Phil and Grant Mitchell and even a Priest in Alex Healy, the woman was a walking disaster zone with men, much like Sandy Roscoe.

I agree and she still chose to be with Fraser after what he did to Joe and her family.

What about Gail Potter-Tilsley-Platt-Hillman-McIntyre? And potentially Rodwell before too long...

I assume 3 and that Joe, Freddie and Ziggy have the same dad, Rick is Robbie and Jason's dad and Jack is Darren's.
