As much as I love Peggy, that would piss me off if she said that, Its the Carters pub now!

It will probably be the Carters pub about 2 or 3 times. If a family leaves the Vic they return a few years later. They will probably try something different with the Carters and then put them in charge of the Vic again.

I would love Peggy to have 1 more reign behind the bar.

This what I think Eastenders should do it needs to bring back Charlie and Jean slater for good and dom needs to get both Peggy and grant back have them around for 6 months And that's it for returns for 2/3 years.

I'd say there's a good chance that we'll see her back for a guest spot at some stage during DTC's reign. If Sharon and Phil's engagement lasts long enough for them to get to the wedding day then I think she'll be back for that, possibly as part of the 30th anniversary storylines. Another possibility is that she could make an appearance as part of Ben's return whenever that may be.

I'd love Peggy to return. The show isn't the same without her.

Pauline would have to be resurrected and return from the dead. At least Peggy could make a realistic and plausible return.

To the OP - it is unlikely to happen, that Windsor would return now though, due to the reasons that she'd given for leaving the last time - which was the commitment and the hours that were required etc etc - and that the likelihood of returning full time is as unlikely now (as at any other time since leaving in 2010).

Do wish that she would return though, at some point - but just can't help feeling that it's a bit unlikely, TBH.

I'd rather Peggy just made regular guest stints or short stints in the future, I'd be surprised if she dosent appear for the 30th anniversary.

I think Peggy may come back for Phil and Sharon's wedding in the 30th anniversary.

No way. Besides she's nothing without the Vic and the Carters are far too good to lose...best Vic family since the Butchers.

I'd rather she didn't come back. I don't think she got it quite right in that single episode last year.

Exactly.

Horrible, sanctimonious old bat. How I laughed every time she fell head over heels in love and it all went tits up.

Bring her back! An EastEnders legend, Nancy Carter isn't fit too lick her boots, nevermind live in her pub!

I wouldn't class Peggy as a legend. She isn't up there with Angie, Den, Dot, Pauline and Pat.

She was there 16 years never the less, Angie was before my time - another one they shouldn't have killed off screen!

The only way Peggy should return is in a coffin. Hideously overrated character.
