Why douse my cat keep following me around me house?

It's just what cats do. I regularly have both of mine sat watching me have a wee!

They like to know where you are is how I look at it, which I think is quite sweet.

A cat I once had used to follow me to a shop around the corner and once even ran after me to sit with me in the beer garden of a nearby pub (there were no road crossings involved).

Mine doesn't really do it in the house, but if I'm working in the garden she soon turns up to "supervise". I think we provide some sort of amusement for them

Some cats are just very attached to their owners.

Mine used to love following me down the road then would wait in a bush till I returned, dive out at me miaowing loudly ( sounding for all the world like 'nah nah, nah, nah nah!' ), then scamper home ahead of me. Think he was getting his own back for me daring to go out without him!
