I've been in many situations during a pretty eventful life and never, ever have I ever lost it and bitten someone. Then done it again... and again. Racism aside (so you you know it's deep when racism is superceded by an even greater transgression) he consistently demonstrates Tysonesque characteristics; that of a deeply troubled, peerlessly gifted individual.

That's what I'll say at work tomorrow.

On here I say, "what the F**K is THAT (again)?!?! Savage.

I bet he's turned his phone off tonight
And put it in a box in the garage no doubt

Anyway, if Mauro Tassotti only got 8 an game ban for breaking Luis Enrique's nose at the 1994 tournament, I suppose by all rights, Suarez should get less than that.

But then he's got previous so they might make an example of him .. who knows ?

There are marks too on his shoulder it seemed no doubt it was a bite though, very sad as a big fan thinking he stopped all this.

Heat all on Liverpool again.
Too play Devils advocate, couldn't those marks be made by the elbowing into LS's mouth?
Hence LS holding his mouth after the elbowing.

Bit strange that there's no other footage.

In my experience football bans are often unrelated to the 'damage' caused , Suarez was banned for 8 games for the evra racist abuse and there wasn't a broken bone in the house.

This is a player who has now been banned for around 30 matches for 2 biting incidents & racist abuse of a fellow professional , it's amazing . Suarez is an incredibly talented footballer but his on pitch behaviour taken as a whole is completely unacceptable.

He reacted by swinging his elbow after he was bitten he didn't charge his shoulder into his mouth did he ?

There is no devil's advocate!!! We saw it from different angles, there is absolutely no doubt that Suarez bit him on purpose, then faked a dive!!!!

LS on 'bite' - "these situations happen on the field. I had contact with his shoulder, nothing more, things like that happen all the time."

****ing hell Suarez! These things don't 'happen all the time' to ANYONE else, just you. Utter lunatic.

This is why I wonder if they'll make an example of him. But then again, money will play a part as any major worldwide ban could effectively render him worthless in the transfer market and deprive Liverpool of a significant fee.

I wouldn't be surprised if they took legal action if that happened.

How would throwing the elbow cause a bite mark on his shoulder near his neck?

I've seen at least 3 angles and they range from pretty clear to completely clear.

That is the only explanation - as you say after his last biting he has somehow managed to get back in people's good books and then he goes and does it again -crazy !!!
So, if he Is unhinged, shouldn't we be more sympathetic?
A flawed genius?

This shows that he just doesn't get it.

He knew full well what he was doing, and he covered it up like a weasel afterwards

No sympathy for Liverpool whatsoever ... he already had previous at Ajax. They knew that when they bought him - or of they didn't, then hard lines!

Without the front on footage , that's just a guess.
Again, just playing DA

Suarez is a bl**dy psycho. It's not even an isolated incident. He should be booted out of the game.

I've only seen the angle from behind, several times, which is why I wondered. Why not show the conclusive footage.
I mean throwing an elbow could still mean the shoulder impacting his mouth.
Not saying that is the case. As I said just playing DA.

He's bitten 3 people, all at different places of work, all caught on video, racially abused someone from a rival organisation, been punished for all incidents, not including the one that occured today and has never been fired.

4 year contract with current employers, starting on £120k per week, going up to £200k per week.

Riiigghhtt...

They did. There is a clear video from the side which both BBC and ITV zoomed in on. There's no reason to play DA here. I'm trying to find the video online but FIFA shut them down pretty quickly by default but I'll link when I find it.

Second angle is the clear one.

Uruguay should actually take action and ban him from ever playing for them again - you know they won't though because he is so important to them.

He has largely escaped being out on his arse because of his talent but more importantly his financial worth. Action needs to be taken and a line needs to be drawn now as he still thinks it is OK to bite another competitor despite his "previous".

I personally don't think it'll happen so it's almost certainly a moot point however clubs that take the footballing governing to court break the rules of the organisation & face some pretty serious consequences .

His manager is defending him.

I'm sure if I decided to keep biting people at work, I quickly find myself looking for another job. Probably have a criminal record to go with it too. Why does a footballer, regardless how good he happens to be at his job otherwise, not get the same treatment?

Would you keep your job if you kept kicking people in the shins or head butted them.
Regular day jobs don't really compare with playing sports.

Good news for Liverpool anyway, probably too toxic for a move to Spain now.
