I've been in many situations during a pretty eventful life and never, ever have I ever lost it and bitten someone. Then done it again... and again. Racism aside (so you you know it's deep when racism is superceded by an even greater transgression) he consistently demonstrates Tysonesque characteristics; that of a deeply troubled, peerlessly gifted individual.

In my experience football bans are often unrelated to the 'damage' caused , Suarez was banned for 8 games for the evra racist abuse and there wasn't a broken bone in the house.

This is a player who has now been banned for around 30 matches for 2 biting incidents & racist abuse of a fellow professional , it's amazing . Suarez is an incredibly talented footballer but his on pitch behaviour taken as a whole is completely unacceptable.

This is why I wonder if they'll make an example of him. But then again, money will play a part as any major worldwide ban could effectively render him worthless in the transfer market and deprive Liverpool of a significant fee.

I wouldn't be surprised if they took legal action if that happened.

He's bitten 3 people, all at different places of work, all caught on video, racially abused someone from a rival organisation, been punished for all incidents, not including the one that occured today and has never been fired.

Second angle is the clear one.

Uruguay should actually take action and ban him from ever playing for them again - you know they won't though because he is so important to them.

He has largely escaped being out on his arse because of his talent but more importantly his financial worth. Action needs to be taken and a line needs to be drawn now as he still thinks it is OK to bite another competitor despite his "previous".

I personally don't think it'll happen so it's almost certainly a moot point however clubs that take the footballing governing to court break the rules of the organisation & face some pretty serious consequences .

I'm sure if I decided to keep biting people at work, I quickly find myself looking for another job. Probably have a criminal record to go with it too. Why does a footballer, regardless how good he happens to be at his job otherwise, not get the same treatment?
