I don't, generally. But I avidly follow every Euro and World Cup. And I am saying that prior to the incident with Chiellini I had not seen a single mention of it, by the media or in here. I'm talking specifically about World Cup coverage. Of course his previous incidents were well documented, I discovered that for myself when I looked them up after he bit Chiellini. And my point was, it was only after that that the media brought up his past. So I think that Liverpool can take some credit for that, because as soon as he's away from their influence, look what happened.

I suppose the danger for Liverpool is that if they punish him on top of what he already has, he'll simply dig his heels in and refuse to return.

Liverpool would then quite rightly retain his registration and it would kick off from there.

I suspect his agent is already in contact with the likes of Real and Barca to sound them out about making a bid for him.

They've certainly got the severity aspect right in this case but l'd have preferred the ban to be six months in length to serve as a really strong deterrent. Apparently, the president of the Uruguay FA, Wilmar Valdez, has confirmed that the association will appeal Luis Suarez's ban. l sincerely hope that they fail in that appeal.

Rumours that Uruguay may boycott their next match. Don't think they'll follow through with that but the hysteria of the anti-English defensivesness and ludicrous claims of photoshopping from some parts of the Uruguayian media make me wonder.....

You would like to feel that an unsuccessful appeal would result in an increased sentence, as in English Football (where, of course, Goofy plies his trade).

I'd personally like him to be banned for much, much longer - IMHO, he got off lightly when he bit Ivanovic, and should really have had a lengthier ban then.

99.9% of people in the world wouldn't have thought in their wildest dreams that Suarez would do that again.
