I honestly don't see how he can ever be allowed to play again, biting is a serious health risk and FIFA/the FA have a duty of care towards all players.

Murphy is right, Suarez knows he has messed up big and didn't celebrate as normal.

Suarez very obviously looked down and went in for the bite. There is absolutely no way to justify what he did. I expect him to be sent home from the world cup tonight, and banned from international sport for the foreseeable future.

FIFA won't have the grapefruits to ban him from the rest of the tournament. He will get something like a 12-match ban... to begin after the tournament.

Suarez clearly has some form of mental health issue - he should certainly be banned, but he needs to be diagnosed properly for his own good, so he can properly try and get to grips with whatever causes him to act like this.

Why won't FIFA 'have the grapefruits' to ban him? Its hardly a controversial thing to considering the video evidence and the general media outcry

I know I shouldn't but that made me laugh!

Some saying it should be an international ban only, what do you think.

I bet he was one those hyperactive kids who went round biting other kids.

Ah, so he only headbutted another player. That's fine then.

I'll say. It makes you wonder how he reacts when arguing with people off the pitch, too.

Uruguay Manager Óscar Tabárez: "This is a football World Cup, not about morality. I think the press & the English press in particular have gone after him."

So they are already blaming the media then. And that kind of attitude from a football manager is ridiculous. He approves of this stuff from Suarez.

Funny to hear the commentary with hindsight:

"Suarez is looking stronger than ever"

"Suarez has had a quiet day today"

That's the Uruguayan attitude to football in a nutshell.

Yeah both in Europe. First time was when at Ajax and received a 7 match ban.

Suarez hes out for the count again, Clearly he has some problem with him as this is the 3rd time its happened. Fifa should ban him for the rest of the tournament, Song got a 3 game ban for Cameroon for an elbow. Hes a talented footballer but he has serious problems and im sure Liverpool fans probably thought hed sorted it out but clearly hasnt.

The Cannibal strikes again. He never learns since coming to England he's racially abused Evra and bite Ivanovic hope Fifa throws the book at him.
