Sadly there isn't much they can do to hurt him other than ban him from the rest of the World Cup. Even if they banned him from internationals for say a year.. he won't care because they'll just be friendlies. I doubt they'd be able to ban him from the next world cup.

Farcical, he bites an Italian defender and it's the English media.

So, do I take that to mean that it is only the England media that have been critical of this latest infringement by Suarez?

What about the Italian media?

What about all the other countries around the world?

Why single out the English media?

That's what is so enigmatic about Suárez though. Off the pitch he is meant to be a likeable family man.

I think Uruguay should be thrown out of the tournament.

Of which he quite possibly is

He just can't deal with highly intense big matches, and does stupid things during it

Video evidence is not conclusive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8onPTgcaEE

It will be down to the doctor's report on the wound.

Why are some on here defending him ?”

He opened his mouth & knashed down on it like in a vampire movie, NO way was it just a headbutt.

He could be kicked out of English football.

Giorgio Chiellini should have got up and stoved Suarez' head in. Suarez has mental health issues, once is not normal, three times is caveman like. Get him put down.

The Uruguayans have always been dirty animals so why should we be surprised at this???

This is a football World Cup, not world war. Seriously idiotic and dishonourable statement by the Uruguay manager. Rough play is one thing, but taking bites out of your opponent...

Yeah, I'm not buying that for a second. When he doesn't get his own way, you see what happens. Who would be surprised if his wife were terrified of him? Not me.

Video is already gone but I disagree. The side angle is conclusive. You can clearly see his mouth go into the guys shoulder region, the player then immediately reacts, grabs his shoulder and goes down. Suarez then also goes down like a sack of spuds.. at first holding his head and then he starts to hold his teeth. It's as clear as it's going to get.. he bit the guy. If he didn't have form.. you'd perhaps give him a bit of doubt.. but he has form for it. We know he does it. And his reaction later was very telling.. he didn't celebrate. He knows he's f**ked. He even pulled his t-shirt over his head to cover his face after the final whistle. Why do that if you're innocent?

Perhaps, but it will take something that drastic to put a stop to his disgusting behaviour. Banning him hasn't worked, he will bite again.

I would put money on him being one of those toddlers who bit when he didn't get his own way. There are kids who bite their mum even when she's just doing their hair (I had one)
Usually parents crack down with big punishments pre-school, or older brothers/ cousins actually bite back even harder and learn the 'cub' what biting will get them. I think Suarez was allowed to carry on biting and it became his "bitty".

Ban him for life if you must but don't punish the whole of Uruguay!
