I've said it before, I'll say it again; his "punditry" consists of nothing more than spouting outlandish views to attract attention and shouting those same self views as though that gives them extra weight.

At least he was the only pundit on MOTD before the world cup to have the balls to say that England wouldn't make it out of the group stage, and boy, was he right!

I think one of the reasons to call him a plonker is because when he was ranting about changing the England setup he said to get Gary Neville involved.

Shearer pointed out that Gary Neville is already involved

Was it out of perceived wisdom? Did he know Costa Rica would do so well after following their squad? Or did he just say several controversial things hoping 1 or 2 would turn out to be correct?

lol, Savage does think he's a know it all. At least he's better than Andy Townsend who IMO is the biggest plank at the World Cup.

He's one of those people who makes me instantly turn off my telly or radio, I haven't listened to 6-0-6 in years for fear of accidentally catching him.

I know what he means by changing England set up, but he doesn't get his facts right. Shame he doesn't have a pair of trousers.

He's probably been to the school of Adrian Childs who's another plank.

I noticed that, Savage then looked a bit embarrassed whilst trying unsuccessfully to explain what he meant

They are all just various shades of plank, some thicker than others.

There some real planks here. Misguided -- thinking that England actually are good. 20 years behind . and think how much Savage will earn in 20 years. all the moaners havent got a friggin clue. all they are worried about is where their next pint is coming from..
