2 goals in the opening 4 minutes. That just sums up this World Cup! (and the equaliser was a cracker!)

Was just about to say its turning out to be Neymar v Messi in this World Cup with Robben being potential to make it 3s a crowd.

I said this in the other match thread but worth pointing out in here, too - if Iran win their game 1-0 and Nigeria lose to Argentina 1-0 then Iran and Nigeria will have identical records, including a draw against one another which would mean drawing lots to see who progresses.
6minutes in and no chance of lots now! Shame actually would like to see how FIFA implemented it.

I dunno, there's been so many! .....there should be a DVD or something. Better make it 2 discs for all the goals.

Almost had another one then!

Yep, shame. It would be nice to see it happen at least once. As long as England are not involved obviously.

But what if Nigeria lose 2-1 and Iran win 2-1? Won't they still have identical records? Or have I missed something?

Goal of the tournament? Immense!!
Better than Cahill's volley?

Missed the first 9 minutes, thought to myself, probably wouldn't have missed much.

Thoughts so far:
Nigerian keeper looks a bit dodgy.
Argentinians going to spend a lot of time rolling on floor, often justifiably.

Or Van Man's lobbed header vs Spain? Or Messi's equaliser vs Iran?

In any other World Cup, Nigeria's equaliser would be up there for goal of the tournament, but this is no ordinary tournament.

Messi won't finish the game. The boys from Lagos will take care of that!

Then if Neymar gets urm, 'taken out' (not for a curry), both of the big South American teams are vulnerable! , leaving Costa Rica to claim their rightful place - as World Champions.

(You watch, they'll bloody win it as well!).

Di Maria is finally coming to life. He's a fantastic player but hasn't done much until this game.

You could be right. If Iran and Argentina both win and by the exact same scorline Iran and Nigeria will have identical records.
