Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Iran - ITV4 5pm KO
Bosnia are already out but Iran can progress to the last 16 if they win this game and Nigeria lose to Argentina.
Enjoy the match! |

More then likely Argentina will beat Nigeria, so Iran must really go for this

This has been the dourest group for me. Five goals thus far. Wasn't expecting a great deal from Iran but Argentina and Nigeria have been disappointing. I wasn't sure what to expect from Bosnia but they were quite lively against Argentina but should have done better against Nigeria.
Can see Arg/Nigeria playing out a bore draw as neither team need to win. Iran can't score so prob 1-0 to Bosnia. That said, Iran may go for it this time but still can't see them winning this one. |

Still feeling confident about my bet on Dzeko to win the Golden Boot. Just needs to score about 7 here and it should be fine.

I'd start spending that money now, if I were you.

I read somewhere earlier that if Iran win this 1-0 and Nigeria lose to Argentina 1-0 then Iran and Nigeria will have identical records, including a draw against one another which would mean drawing lots to see who progresses.

Edit: Ah, the commentator just mentioned it. |

I think lots can still happen but now it will have to be a 2-1 win for Iran and a 2-1 defeat for Nigeria... I think.

The commentary on ITV4 has been so bad in terms of content and also audio quality I actually wouldn't care if the World Cup lost FTA status and Sky bought the rights, at least they would actually do things properly and not half assed.

Many said no because it has to be on FTA. But I can't see a reason why Sky couldn't have the rights and make it available on FTA Freeview channels. They could make two available during the world cup or other sporting events on the 'special' list. Unfortunately I believe ITV have the rights for the next two world cups. |
