Hi,
I hope someone can advise....
I have a video mixer hooked up to various equipment and it outputs via a Phono Composite output. I wish to be abee to record the output from this, but now I realise it's becoming more and more difficult to purchase HDD recorders with analogue connectivity. I have seen devices that convert an analog signal to digital RF so that's fine to use that if necessary.
Ideally I would like to be able to record the output to a USB drive, so I can archive the recordings for later viewing, and then be able to play those back on any TV/player/PC with a USB connection.
Maybe USB drive isn't the way forward???? I don't really want to record into a computer and the recordings would generally be 5-8 hours. It's not HD quality, but I need to record in the best quality possible.
Has anyone any experience of what would be useful to me?
Thanks.
