My Home Hub 3 is on it's last legs and BT have agreed to send a replacement. Will it be a reconditioned 3 I get or is the only one available now the 5?

In order to get the totally unlimited / traffic unshaped Infinity 2, I signed up recently for a further 18 months and was sent a nice new HH5 in addition to my existing HH3 which TBH I didn't really expect.

I don't really know for certain what you'll get as a replacement, but as BT didn't seem to have any interest whatsoever in having my HH3 returned to them I'm guessing they won't have huge stocks of them to dish out.

It was a while before I could even be bothered to change over to the new box but it's now running happily with no teething problems and I'm a HH5 fan now.
