Thought of that one too, but don't tell the commentators as it might get them even more confused. lol

That's brill..not every Frenchman has a French sounding name, like Wenger! Didn't know he was French.
Ha ha . And what was he saying about teams with 100% records in the competition? He missed off Argentina or am getting this wrong...

America is just shorthand, same as US.

It's the United States of Ameria or USA.

Good looking game this.

I want to see how France do against a half decent team which Ecuador seem to be.
Not as good as I was expecting

Same here, as I thought they'd be outstanding. Maybe they're waiting for the 2nd half to shine

Why aren't Ecuador trying to win?

The way that they're set up appears to give them hardly any chance of decent attacks.

I think they setup for a tight opening to stop France getting into a rhythm but will have to do more attacking.

That was a good chance.

If Switzerland are winning their match 2-0 then surely Ecuador should be going for the win like their life depended on it?

It's a France B team (or at least half a B team), can't judge them on tonight.

At least he's easy to spot no matter where he is on the pitch!

Keep it tight upto an hour or so and stay in it then maybe go for it last half hour. As things stand they only need 1 unless Switzerland score more.
