Another striker on for France, shame the midfield either bypass them with an awful shot/cross or they can only find the useless Giroud.

Ecuador heading out fairly swiftly based on the fact that it's France doing all the attacking - and the scoreline in Manaus.

Am I right in thinking that Ecuador will be the first South American team to be knocked out of this World Cup?”

I think so. Very much a case of Europe Strikes Back! after the departures of Spain, Italy and urm, England.

What an awful swipe of a finish from Arroyo.

And he's taken off to compound his embarrassment.

Oh come on! At least try and test the keeper and not the poor sap in the crowd whose hot-dog you've just blasted out of their hands. Probably.

Almost by Ecuador, they've looked by far the better team this half.

Greece and Ivory Coast spoiled us last night compared to this.

Hopefully this dire finishing will drain the French confidence and they go out next round.

Keeper keeping them in this. The attackers need to do their part.

2 red cards for violent conduct in 3 weeks, questions will be asked to be fair to him I don't think it was for the initial contact, but the way he appeared to rake the players shin as his foot slid down the players leg and whether he could have avoided that.

Not even this World Cup can be that insane.......can it?

That keeper has single-handed kept this going as a contest.
