Excuse me? Can anyone out there give me a bit of help and advice please?
I have had a blender for a while, (haven't used it much until now) which is pretty much like the
"Rapido! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfMKKq8IZUk,
but it is made under a different company. It's the "Gorden Ramsey Blender," (anyone heard of that?) and comes with all the same bits and pieces. (i.e. the mixing cups, the screw on mixing blades and juice extractor e.t.c.)
I've been watching the adverts on one of the digital channels for the "Rapido" and I'm interested to know if anyone out there knows of any good juicing recipes I can make using specifically, the grey juice extractor thingy that you place inside the blender jug please?
I know there are various other juices I could make without the grey center piece, but I feel rather focused on this part right now as my favourite as I can't find many recipes online for it.
Also, I'm slightly worried about something, and have a question please?
For a blender of this make, for juicing purposes, does anyone know, is it safe to put hard fruit/vegetables (for e.g. apples and carrots) straight into this blender, on top of the cutting blades for chopping purposes?
I followed just 1 simple recipe I found on Youtube :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDlVQWOFA1o
Now, obviously this is a completely different blender/juicer used in this clip, but when I put a couple of chunks of apples into my (Gorden Ramsey) blender, it was being chopped up, but I was a bit worried by the loud "chopping" noise it was making, and I was a bit worried if this might break the blades or not.
I only used it for about a 2nd or 2 in this manner, just to be on the safe side for now.
In the Rapido advert, it showed the guy using mostly soft fruit and vegetables for this purpose. (i.e. the kale leaves and blue berries e.t.c)
Should I only use soft fruit and vegetables here, or is it safe to use hard ones too?
I would appreciate any very helpful feedback here.
