This referee doesn't fill me with great confidence.

Chewy Luis and The Blues was rather dramatic...
Ah, yes, of course.

I don't think Germany are playing for a draw
Did USA get the memo?

Germany: No draw today, we're going for the win!
USA: Uh wh-what!?!?!? We had an agreement!
Germany: If you say so!

Howard
Johnson (RB)
Dempsey at a push?!

And Kinsmann of course
I'll give use Howard. Can we swap their Johnson (RB) for the England one?
I'd add Beckerman, he's 32 though so could move back into Glen Johnson's alleged place.

Great people the Germans, but you should never accept pieces of paper from them if war is looming, in the European Parliament, or the World Cup.

But they do make fantastic beer! I've read that for Bayern Munich's ground, there's a beer pipeline that runs from a local brewery to the ground! Typical German efficiency that!

Americans good at running into space on the counter-attack but can't play someone in to finish it off.

They've just come into this match a bit more in the last 10 minutes.

We were going on about the teams playing for the draw, but we forgot all about the ref! He must have put a bet on!

And Portugal lead!

That's the most spectacular own goal I've seen in a fair while (in the Ghana v Portugal match).

Both USA and Germany will be pleased at Portugal taking the lead rather than Ghana, though, as their goal difference is so poor it's unlikely they'll improve it enough to overtake either side.

I told hub game was on when he was in the bath, and he was out fast enough, and is on red button recording for me. Your hub did well too

Jesus wept, so near to the net and so far!
Have you been watching all the group matches? The simulcast ones after the live ones?

Be funny if he whipped out a yellow card for himself
